Kaapsche Hoop Gastehuis

Kaapsche Hoop Gastehuis, also known as Kaapsehoop or Kaapse Hoop, dates back to the renowned gold rush of the late 1880s. It is situated on the edge of the Mpumalanga escarpment, overlooking the valleys toward Barberton and Nelspruit. The guest house offers eight luxury en-suite rooms, each with its own private entrance, as well as a restaurant and bar providing a la carte and buffet dinners exclusively for guests. The dining room features a cozy fireplace, creating a romantic ambiance, and a TV area.

Located just 28 km from Nelspruit, Kaapsche Hoop Gastehuis is strategically positioned as a base for day trips to nearby destinations such as Sabie, Graskop, the Kruger National Park, Barberton, Mozambique, and Swaziland. After a busy day of exploration, guests can retreat to the mosquito-free mountain air and relax, or in winter, unwind with a glass of exquisite wine.

The guest house has recently undergone refurbishment and now features nine well-equipped en-suite rooms catering to singles and couples. All rooms feature high-quality beds, bedding made of pure wool for a comfortable and refreshing sleep, TVs with DStv (hotel bouquet), and bar fridges. Dinner is available at an additional cost if arranged prior to arrival.
