Kaijaiki Country Inn

Kaijaiki Country Inn is located less than one kilometer from the beach in Yzerfontein. It offers accommodation with a fireplace, and the West Coast National Park is 19 kilometers away. Each room at Kaijaiki Country Inn is furnished with parquet flooring and wooden beams, and features a fireplace, a flat-screen TV with basic channels, and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. The bathrooms are equipped with a shower.

Breakfast is served daily, and the on-site coffee shop "Koffie en jy" serves light lunches. Packed breakfasts can be arranged. The property is located about 24 kilometers from Darling, and Cape Town International Airport is approximately one hour away by car. Free parking is available on-site.

Visitors can take a walk on the 16-mile beach at Yzerfontein, rent a canoe or kayak from Yzerfontein Sea Sport, go on a horseback safari, visit the game farm at Buffelsfontein, see a show at Evita's Perron in Darling, do a chocolate and wine pairing at Ormonde Wine Estate, or taste local wines at Blake's Family Wine and Darling Cellars. They can also visit Yzer Bru, a busy little brewery next door to Kaijaiki Country Inn, and the Darling Olive Farm on the way to Darling Sweets, where they can buy toffee souvenirs. Additionally, visitors are encouraged to visit Postberg, a completely undisturbed floral landscape in the West Coast National Park, during August and September, and go for a picnic or braai afterwards at Tsaarsbank. They might even catch a glimpse of whales.

Breakfast is served from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, and packed breakfasts can also be arranged for an additional fee. The restaurant is temporarily closed for renovations until January 2023, but the coffee shop "Koffie en Jy" is open and serves light lunches. The Family Unit is tastefully decorated with a queen-size bed, two single beds, and an en-suite bathroom. Each room is also fitted with tea- and coffee-making facilities, a fireplace, and a flat-screen TV (no DStv package).
