Kalahari Anib Lodge, Gondwana Collection Namibia

Kalahari Anib Lodge, part of the Gondwana Collection Namibia, is situated on the eastern fringes of Namibia where the red sands of the Kalahari desert extend. Located 30km from Mariental, the lodge serves as an ideal overnight stop for travelers moving between Windhoek and the south, or those heading to the Kgalagadi.

The property offers a range of accommodation options including 32 standard rooms and 19 comfort rooms. The standard rooms comprise 30 twin rooms (including one pair of inter-leading rooms and one designed for guests with restricted mobility), one triple room, and one family room. The comfort section features 15 twin rooms and four family rooms. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms with showers, mosquito nets, tea/coffee facilities, and hairdryers.

The lodge's facilities include a restaurant, bar, curio shop, two cold water swimming pools, and a playground. Visitors can enjoy various activities such as morning and afternoon nature drives, guided dune walks, desert night walks, and self-guided hiking trails. The property particularly comes alive during sunset when the Kalahari sands glow with an inner fire, offering spectacular views of the desert landscape where gemsbok flourish and sociable weavers construct large nests in camelthorn trees.

For camping enthusiasts, the lodge provides three exclusive sites, each equipped with private bathrooms and barbecue facilities.
