Kareekloof Game Farm

Kareekloof Game Farm is a privately-owned game farm located in the southern foothills of the Magaliesberg Mountain in the Derby area of the Rustenburg District, North-West Province, South Africa. It is characterized by dense bush and grass fields with a splendid view of the surrounding mountains and countryside.

The game farm offers a true South African hospitality experience with personal attention and service. It is a countryside destination that provides an ideal break away from the stress and strain of city life, offering peace, quietness, and a bushveld experience. It is not a resort or a hotel but a farm stay, specializing in country weddings.

The wedding ceremonies take place on a mountain overlooking a beautiful natural setting. Game drives are available at an additional cost of R900 per drive per vehicle, regardless of the number of passengers, with a maximum capacity of 9 people per vehicle.

Children are expected to entertain themselves with their own toys, bicycles, and games, enjoying farm activities and the outdoors. There is an open swimming pool where children must be accompanied by their parents at all times. One-bedroom chalets are available, equipped with a queen-size bed, linen, towels, an en-suite shower, and a fully equipped kitchen. Each chalet has its own lapa and BBQ facility, situated 20 meters from the swimming pool. While there is no TV in the rooms, a full DSTV service is available in the public lounge. The chalets are also equipped with air conditioning.
