Karibu Guest House / Bed & Breakfast

Karibu Guest House / Bed & Breakfast is a facility that provides affordable accommodation located approximately 3 kilometers from Carnival City and 20 minutes from OR Tambo International Airport. It is situated in a tranquil area with modern, stylishly furnished rooms. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available upon request.

The premises is located within the enclosed area of Dalpark, which is secured with fencing and has only two entrances: one at Tambotie Street and another at Hendrik Potgieter Street. Karibu Guest House itself is secured with steel palisades, high brick walls at the back, CCTV cameras, and an alarm system with response units available on call and panic buttons.

While the swimming pool is available for all guests, it is requested to book the Lapa area in advance for braai (barbecue) to avoid crowding. Guests are required to supply their own food and braai gear, such as coal and fire lighters, as the establishment will provide plates, knives, and forks.

The rooms are equipped with normal TV with 18 extra satellite channels. Breakfast is included in the accommodation package, while lunch and dinner are optional and can be arranged and paid for in cash upon arrival. The rooms also feature full DSTV, unlimited Wi-Fi, and a solar system to prevent load shedding.

One of the rooms is a modern, stylishly decorated en-suite room with an extra King-size bed. Upon request, this room can be enhanced with flower petals, candle lights, and other romantic touches. Additionally, a picnic basket can be ordered in advance and set up in the room for special occasions. This room also features a jacuzzi-type spa bath for a calming effect during the stay.
