Kariega Game Reserve - Ukhozi Lodge

The Kariega Game Reserve - Ukhozi Lodge is a malaria-free, family-owned private game reserve that spans across nearly 9000 hectares of pristine wilderness, encompassing five different ecosystems: riverine forest, valley bushveld, savannah grasslands, fynbos, and acacia woodlands. The reserve is home to more than 25 species of game, including Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, White Rhino, Hippo, Hyena, Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeest, Waterbuck, Nyala, Kudu, Warthog, and a variety of Antelope. Additionally, over 280 species of birds nest on the Reserve. One unique feature of the reserve is the ability for guests to walk freely and safely among the game in a designated area.

The exclusive Ukhozi Lodge accommodates 20 guests in 10 superbly appointed, luxury, air-conditioned suites crafted from logs. Each suite features modern bathrooms, private decks, and private plunge pools, promising an unforgettable experience. The lodge is situated in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa, at the end of South Africa's famous Garden Route. The Reserve incorporates the Kariega and Bushmans Rivers and is located 14 km from Kenton-on-Sea and 141 km from Port Elizabeth.
