Karoo Cottage Mcgregor

Karoo Cottage McGregor is a charming and romantic self-catering cottage for a single person or a couple, located within easy walking distance of the village restaurants and pubs. The cottage features a thatched roof and an open-plan layout. It is separately set in the beautiful garden of the main property owned by the hosts, Rob & Cher Graham.

The cottage offers a comfortable queen-size bed with a mosquito net. Linens and towels are provided. It has an old-fashioned wood-burning Dover stove fireplace, an electric blanket, and a heater for use during the winter months. The cozy sitting area is well-lit, and there is a well-equipped kitchenette with a microwave and a stove with an oven. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub but no shower.

Guests have access to a sheltered outdoor area in the garden with hot water. There is no TV in the cottage, but a good CD player with a selection of CDs is available. Free Wi-Fi is provided. The garden features shady nooks perfect for relaxing, reading, or entertaining bird watching. The property also has a swimming pool.

While there is no shortage of places to visit in and around McGregor, guests can choose to stay in and braai in the secluded open braai area or use the Weber grill on the patio. Guests are required to bring their own charcoal or briquettes. It is recommended that guests who plan to self-cater shop for supplies before arriving in McGregor. Alternatively, quality deli products, home bakes, and frozen meals are available during normal business hours from Made in McGregor and 51 in the village. Pets are not allowed at the cottage.
