Each cottage is serviced daily and includes a private boma with braai facilities, with necessary equipment and wood provided.
The property boasts extensive vegetable gardens, fruit orchards, and olive groves, which guests are encouraged to explore and harvest from for their meals. The working small-holding maintains free-range animals, and visitors, particularly children, are welcome to participate in feeding times. The absence of urban lighting and noise ensures an authentic Karoo atmosphere.
Amenities include a guest lounge equipped with DStv and an extensive library, offering panoramic views of the mountains and surrounding landscape. Wi-Fi is available throughout the premises, and secure parking is provided. The property produces its own jams, preserves, smoked olives, and olive oil, which are available for purchase in the rooms. Optional full Karoo breakfasts are served at the owners' residence.
Located at the foot of the Swartberg Mountains on the Great Karoo's edge, Prince Albert is renowned for its lamb, fruits, cheeses, and hospitality. The town maintains its character as a working community while offering visitors a tranquil retreat. One cottage specifically caters to families, featuring a queen bed in an open-plan dining area and two single beds in a separate bedroom, complete with full self-catering facilities.
