Karoo-Palet is a self-catering house located in Oudtshoorn. It is situated in a fertile valley surrounded by the Swartberg and Outeniqua mountain ranges, creating an oasis-like setting. The house offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, providing guests with the opportunity to enjoy the town or the surrounding farms.

The house consists of three en-suite bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a TV room with selected DStv channels, and an open-plan living area leading onto a large veranda with braai facilities and seating. Additionally, there is a lovely swimming pool overlooking the beautiful Black Mountains and the veld. Secure parking is available inside the property, with guests provided with their own remote control.

Oudtshoorn is known for having the most sunny days per year in the entire country, with dry winters. The town is shielded from the coastal belt by the mountain ranges, and the Klein Karoo region experiences many windless days. It is also a convenient halfway stopover when traveling between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth, as the coastal town of George is approximately 56 km away.
