Kay Cera Guesthouse And Self-Catering is situated in Dana Bay, a coastal town surrounded by two lovely beaches in the Garden Route, located 3 km from Mossel Bay Mall. It offers self-catering flats that accommodate 2, 3, 4, or 8 people, with DStv included. All the flats have private entrances, private braai facilities, and a garden for children to play. Bushbuck are regularly sighted here, and the area is abundant with birdlife, as it is a protected conservation area.

The guesthouse is in close proximity to game parks, golf courses, a casino, health spas, restaurants, and shopping malls. George airport is approximately a 30-minute drive away. Dana Bay has two beautiful beaches and is one of the many popular fishing spots in the area. Kay Cera is a family-oriented guesthouse in the picturesque Garden Route, located close to beaches and hiking trails. Self-catering accommodation options are also available, with units containing fully equipped kitchens, en-suite bathrooms, private entrances, barbeque facilities, and sea views.

The name Kay Cera was derived from the 1956 hit song "Que Sera Sera" performed by Doris Day in the Alfred Hitchcock movie "The Man Who Knew Too Much." Que Sera Sera, translated from Spanish, means "Whatever will be, will be." The song has served as inspiration to Sue-Ze de Jager, the owner-manager of Kay Cera, from an early age as a child. This motto of "whatever is destined to be, will be" has become a way of life throughout the years. Sue-Ze has now "retired" to the Garden Route, where she manages Kay Cera Guesthouse and Self-catering, and she still lives her life and operates Kay Cera by these same values. Kay Cera has become a sanctuary for travelers from all over the country and world seeking reflection or relaxation in the beautiful Garden Route for a few days, with many leaving with a new outlook on life.
