Kei Mouth Guest Lodge

The Kei Mouth Guest Lodge is situated in a tranquil street in the seaside village of Kei Mouth on the Wild Coast of South Africa. It offers comfortable home-stay accommodation in the heart of the village. The lodge is located midway between Addo Elephant Park, Port Elizabeth, and the Drakensberg Mountains, making it a suitable stopover for travelers on a South African road trip en route to Kruger Park.

The lodge is centrally located, within walking distance of amenities such as supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, the beach, the Kei River, and the ferry crossing. It features three en-suite bedrooms: The Stone Room, The Garden Room, and The Coral Room, as well as The Loft, a two-bedroom flat. The rooms are serviced daily, and guests have access to shared living and dining areas, a fully equipped kitchen, and a braai patio.

Additionally, the entire house can be rented as a private self-catering unit, with options for a five-bedroom unit or a combination of a two-bedroom and a three-bedroom unit. The lodge is pet-friendly and offers complimentary light snack trays with cereal, yogurt, provita, jam, tea, and coffee in the rooms. Cooked breakfasts are available at local restaurants in the village.

Nguni House, a new addition to the accommodation offerings, is situated next door to the main guest house. It is a four-bedroom, two-bathroom self-catering holiday house with a full kitchen and living area, three double bedrooms, and a bunk room, sleeping up to ten guests comfortably. Nguni House offers secure on-site parking and is pet-friendly.

The Kei Mouth Guest Lodge serves as the home and base for guests participating in horse riding holidays and Kei River Beach Trails offered by Wild Coast Horse Riding Adventures. Deep-sea fishing and Fish Eagle River Cruises are also available as part of the activities, and custom weekend packages can be arranged.
