Khumbula Iafrica

Khumbula Iafrica is a cozy, African-style accommodation situated in the peaceful environment of African nature on the southern edge of the Kruger Park in Marloth Park. The property offers guests the opportunity to experience the comfort of home combined with the mood and atmosphere of African nature, allowing them to leave behind the stress, hustle, and bustle of daily life. At Khumbula Iafrica, there are no fences, enabling wild animals to move freely between the houses.

The accommodation is unique in that both bedrooms on the ground floor are equipped with air conditioning, and free hotel service is provided, ensuring a truly relaxing and memorable holiday experience. Employees visit every day to cater to the guests' needs. Guests can savor African wine while witnessing the visits of zebras, giraffes, and other animals, and enjoy the African sounds and romantic atmosphere in the boma (outdoor entertainment area) during the evenings.

Khumbula Iafrica offers self-drive safari options into the Kruger National Park, or alternatively, guided safaris can be organized for guests who prefer not to drive themselves. House Khumbula 1 features a cozy kitchen with a thatched roof, a granite dining table with bar stools, and a seating area with an African-style sofa on the ground floor. The fully equipped kitchen includes all necessary appliances and utensils.

The master bedroom on the ground floor has a double bed, spacious wardrobe, dressing table, and air conditioning, with access to a private bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. The second ground floor bedroom also has a double bed, spacious wardrobe, and air conditioning, with a separate shared bathroom featuring a shower, sink, and toilet. On the open gallery upper floor, there are two single beds with wardrobes and a cozy TV corner with a double sofa bed. Fans are available on the upper floors for cooling on hot days.

The accommodation provides amenities such as made beds, regularly changed bed linen every 2 to 3 days, and bath and kitchen towels that are changed regularly. Several seating areas are available on the spacious ground floor terrace, and a swimming pool (large hip pool) offers the opportunity to cool off during hot days. The garden includes a braai area (outdoor barbecue area) with a view of the parkland.

Marloth Park is located on the southern edge of the Kruger Park, separated by the Crocodile River. Unlike the Kruger Park, there are no fences in Marloth Park, allowing animals to move freely between the houses. Guests staying at Khumbula Iafrica may have the opportunity to encounter zebras, giraffes, and kudus during their stay in one of the cozy homes.
