Kilulu Lodge

Kilulu Lodge is a 4 Star Guesthouse located on Johannesburg's Westrand, approximately 7 minutes from Lanseria Airport. It is highly recommended by the AA and excels with its Old World charm combined with modern amenities such as an internet hotspot, garden Jacuzzi, and impeccable service.

The owner, Katja Berker, has lovingly collected African crafts during her time as a journalist in Southern Africa, which can be seen throughout the lodge. The main house and all Suites are stylishly decorated with an eye for detail and a fusion of colonial and African chic elements.

The romantic garden Jacuzzi is a popular feature among regular customers, and the seven garden suites each have their own veranda with a view over parts of the 2.6 hectare garden. Some suites feature open plan kitchens, fireplaces, and reading corners. All suites have en-suite bathrooms, some with their own courtyards, and are equipped with TV, mini bars, and coffee and tea facilities.

Kilulu Lodge is situated near Lanseria Airport, the well-known Ruimsig and Eagles Canyon Golf courses, and within walking distance of Monash University. The area offers numerous nearby places of interest, including The Dome, The Cradle of Humankind, The Lion Park, Botanical Gardens, and Rhino Park. There are also well-known restaurants such as The Spinx, Casalinga, Angie's, and Ramkietjie in the vicinity. Featherbrook and Clearwater Mall shopping centres are just down the road, making it convenient for self-catering guests.

Professional mobile massage services can be arranged. Makindi, a separate accommodation with a blue and white theme, candles, and antiques, offers a romantic backdrop tucked away under large trees in the sprawling gardens.
