Kingfisher Heads is a recently upgraded self-catering apartment located on the waterfront in Velddrif, one of the small fishing villages situated along the 'forgotten' West Coast region of South Africa. Velddrif is just a few kilometers away from where the Berg River meets the sea at St Helena Bay.

The apartment is situated on the ground floor and consists of two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, an open-plan fully equipped kitchen, and a lounge area that flows onto a patio and lawns overlooking the Berg River with its rich bird life. Linen and towels are provided for guests.

The historical Bokkom Laan is located nearby and offers boat trips, a restaurant, and an art gallery. The apartment serves as a perfect base for exploring the West Coast, Rocher Pan Nature Reserve, West Coast Park, and the fossil park. Visitors can view wild flowers in season, and activities available in the area include 4x4 trips, hiking, fishing, sailing, golf, and squash.
