Klaarstroom Guest House is a restored Victorian homestead offering old-fashioned Karoo hospitality. It is situated at the Northern entrance to Meiringspoort, providing beautiful mountain views, fresh Karoo air, and endless sunshine. The house features lofty ceilings, wooden floors, and French doors opening onto a wide stoep. The decor is a simple and elegant blend of period furniture and clean lines, echoing the purity of the refreshing Karoo landscape.

All rooms at Klaarstroom Guest House are en-suite with ceiling fans and heating. There are two double rooms in the main house, as well as a twin room. In the converted waenhuis, there are two twin rooms with an interleading door. The guest house offers hearty country breakfasts and home-cooked suppers, aiming to remind guests that simple, well-prepared food is one of life's great pleasures.

Klaarstroom Guest House serves as an ideal, tranquil base from which to explore the Klein Karoo. Oudtshoorn is located 60 km to the South West, Prince Albert is 60 km to the East (in the Great Karoo), and the Karoo National Park is 120 km to the North. It is also conveniently situated as a stopover en-route to the coast from up-country or as a break in the trip between Cape Town and the Eastern Cape.

The guest house is accredited by the Prince Albert Tourism Bureau and offers five large spacious rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, ceiling fans, and heaters.
