Tim Scarborough, his wife Margie, and their team, who emigrated from Jersey to Cape Town in 1963, offer a winning blend of hospitality, comfort, character, and a beautiful location at Klein Bosheuwel Guest House. The Guest House is the closest bed and breakfast accommodation to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, situated only a 200-meter walk away, and guests are provided with free passes to enter the Gardens.

The conveniently central location of the Guest House means that it is only a 15-minute drive from both the Cape Town Waterfront and Hout Bay, and a 20-minute drive from the airport. Numerous walks, hiking trails, and biking trails for all levels are easily accessible from the Guest House.

Delicious breakfasts are served in the conservatory, which overlooks the garden, and guests can watch numerous varieties of birds feeding nearby. The Guest House provides plenty of advice for guests who want to explore restaurants, the Constantia Valley wine estates, or the many other attractions that the Cape has to offer. Tim and Margie are happy to make reservations, provide maps, and guide guests to their destinations.

For guests who choose to relax, there is a beautiful established garden with roses, a variety of flowers, shrubs, and trees, and winding paths. A secluded swimming pool with stunning views of the mountain and the Constantia Valley is also available. Children are welcome, and they enjoy playing with Feather, the Sheepdog.

The Guest House offers four en-suite bedrooms situated in the main house, and a separate self-catering flat. The warmth of welcome at Klein Bosheuwel results in happy guests, many of whom return year after year, and lasting friendships are formed. One of Tim's hobbies is vexillology, so guests can expect to see the flag of their home country flying in anticipation of their arrival. The Standard Double Room features views of Constantia Valley or the gardens, a queen-size bed, a fridge, tea and coffee facilities, a satellite TV, and a work desk. The room's private bathroom has a bath and a shower.
