Klein Waterval Riverside Lodge is located in a valley on the banks of the Berg River, in the Franschhoek Valley. It is surrounded by vineyards and dramatic mountain views. The lodge is a short drive from Franschhoek, 20 minutes from Stellenbosch and Paarl, and 50 minutes from Cape Town International Airport and Cape Town itself. It currently offers 8 luxurious and comfortable rooms, some of which are thatched.

Four of the rooms face natural gardens alongside the pool, and the rest are situated below a small stream overlooking the farm's vineyards. Klein Waterval's relaxed farm atmosphere provides an excellent base for exploring the surrounding attractions and landmarks, while also offering various activities on the farm itself. Guests can visit the Cape's most celebrated wine farms, historical villages, popular restaurants, and scenic mountain passes.

The lodge encourages guests to swim and relax around the pool area or alongside the riverlette after an exhilarating day, enjoying a glass of superb wine on the verandah and watching the sunset. Wi-Fi is available throughout the guesthouse, including guestrooms, swimming pool, and bar areas. The lodge regretfully does not accommodate children under the age of 10. The rooms are available with twin beds or double (king-size) beds, and each room has an en-suite bath and shower overlooking the vineyards with mountain views.
