Kleinplasie Camping Site is situated on a smallholding just 2km outside of Calvinia, a town in the Northern Cape province of South Africa. The property, which spans 3.5 hectares, features restored farm buildings that are more than a century old and were converted into a guest farm in 2002. It is owned and managed by Oubaas Strauss.

The peaceful campsite features a beautiful garden and offers self-catering accommodation, camping sites with braai areas, and occasional farm breakfasts upon request. It also includes braai facilities and a lovely garden setting. The Calvinia district, part of the Great Karoo region, is known for its vibrant wildflower displays during the Namaqualand daisy season from August to September.

The town of Calvinia offers several attractions, including the Calvinia Museum, the historical Boekhuis ("Book House"), the Akkerendam Nature Reserve, and the famous Hantam Meat Festival held annually in August. Kleinplasie Camping Site can accommodate up to 20 guests and features two ablution facilities, an outdoor sink, and electricity points for added convenience.
