Klipspringer Mcgregor is a fully equipped stone-built, thatch roof cottage located in the Riviersonderend mountains, approximately 11 km from McGregor and two hours away from Cape Town. It can only be accessed by a 4x4 vehicle with good ground clearance. The cottage serves as a peaceful mountain retreat and accommodates only two guests, making it ideal for couples seeking a romantic getaway.

The cottage features a double bed loft room with picturesque views. Downstairs, it has a living area, a bathroom with a flush toilet, shower, and basin, as well as a kitchen. Although there is no electricity, the cottage remains comfortable with an indoor braai, a gas geyser, a two-burner stove, and a solar panel that provides energy for lighting at night. A 12v 50l fridge is also available.

Klipspringer Mcgregor offers an escape from the bustling city life, surrounded by thousands of hectares of fynbos and breathtaking panoramic views. Visitors can engage in various activities such as hiking, cycling, bird watching, and stargazing. The area is home to grysbok, black eagles, and sunbirds that are restricted to the Western Cape region.

The stone-built cottage features a unique settlement and privacy, creating an ambiance with its indoor fireplace, stargazing opportunities, breathtaking sunsets, and sun downers on the deck.
