Klondyke Cherry Farm

Klondyke Cherry Farm is a working fruit farm that cultivates apples, pears, and cherries. It is located approximately 30 kilometers from Ceres, off the R46 road, which is less than two hours' drive from Cape Town. The farm provides accommodation in three self-catering cottages, which are ideal for couples and families. The cottages are fully equipped for self-catering purposes, including bedding, towels, heaters, and electric blankets. However, they do not have televisions. Cell phone reception is available only in the office area.

The kitchens in the cottages are equipped with stoves, refrigerators, microwaves, toasters, and coffee-making facilities. Each cottage has an indoor fireplace and braai facilities. Additionally, the farm offers a campsite with electricity points that can accommodate tents, caravans, or motor-homes. The campsite has two ablution blocks, with only two hot water showers available.

Klondyke Cherry Farm is situated at an elevation of 1200 meters above sea level, which results in cooler summers and crisp winters. The campsite provides ample shade under the old trees, creating a pleasant environment for camping.
