Knysna Backpackers @ Edge Of Africa Lodge

Knysna Backpackers @ Edge Of Africa Lodge is a century-old Victorian House that is a listed national monument and the oldest existing backpackers lodge in Knysna. It offers superior backpacker accommodation with fresh linen and serviced rooms, modern bathrooms, and comfortable seating areas. The lodge is situated on a slope, overlooking the Knysna Lagoon, providing guests with a view of the lagoon and a two-minute stroll to the town center where they can explore Knysna.

In addition to backpacker accommodation, the lodge offers Private Double en-suite, Standard Private Doubles, and Dorms. The rooms are basic but comfortable, each with beautiful high ceilings and original yellow-wood flooring. The facilities available to guests include a BBQ facility in the garden, free Wi-Fi, a communal lounge with TV, complimentary tea/coffee and morning snack, a book exchange, clean bathrooms, and a covered patio area with lots of activity information and flyers.

The lodge features a 12-sleeper dorm with bunks in a spacious room with high ceilings and a lovely bay window overlooking the town and lagoon. Guests have access to a shared communal area and kitchen.
