Koedoesrus Boskamp

Koedoesrus Boskamp is a bushcamp and accommodation facility located within the Dinokeng Big 5 Game Reserve, situated just outside Hammanskraal, off the Rust de Winter Road. The facility prides itself on being a nature-lovers' ideal solace and strives to adhere to everyone's needs. Music and fireworks are not permitted at all, as per the policy of the Nature Reserve.

The terrain features seven camping sites in the main camp, located close to the communal open-air ablution facilities, boma, and washing facilities. There are also camping sites at the "InniBos" site, which are more secluded and situated within the bush, with their own communal open-air ablution facilities. Almost all campsites offer mostly shaded areas. All stands are equipped with electrical points, and the ablution facilities have hot water and flush toilets. The water supply is sourced from a borehole and is safe for human consumption, but guests are requested to be water-wise and avoid unnecessary water wastage.

Firewood, fire-pit logs, and ice are available for purchase on-site. Each campsite is provided with a braai and a rubbish bin, which are cleaned and replaced daily for guests' convenience. A splash pool is available at the main camp. However, the facility does not cater to children, as it is not a pleasure resort. Although the main campsite is situated near the main house, guests are afforded privacy and are free to roam the 4ha fenced premises.

Koedoesrus Boskamp is located within the Dinokeng Game Reserve, surrounded by free-roaming wildlife. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the sounds of nature and recharge their souls with the calls of the wildlife. The Dinokeng Game Reserve is a beautiful reserve conveniently located just a 45-minute drive from Pretoria. Game viewing permits can be obtained per vehicle for the self-drive game route, allowing visitors to spot various animals such as kudu, zebra, impala, ostrich, blesbok, blue wildebeest, waterbuck, red hartebeest, buffalo, giraffes, elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, warthogs, and many other small game and bird species roaming freely within the reserve.
