Koensrust Sea Farm

Koensrust Sea Farm offers accommodation options for those who enjoy the ocean environment while also experiencing the sights, sounds, and scents of the veld. The property provides opportunities for long walks or runs along the beaches or fynbos paths, as well as cycling on local roads towards Puntijie, Stillbaai, or further destinations.

Swimming in the sea or river during the summer months and exploring the numerous rock pools at low tide, regardless of the weather, are popular activities. Two beaches are within walking distance, and the river is slightly further away, but visitors can drive to the river or beach parking lots and walk the remaining distance. Both the beaches and the river offer excellent swimming opportunities.

The accommodations, including the Kapstyl and the Cottage, feature wonderful outdoor deck areas that allow guests to sit and relax while being protected from the wind in almost any wind condition. Visitors can contemplate their next activity, whether it be a run, a walk, a swim, making a cup of tea, or simply taking a nap.

Both the Kapstyl and the Cottage have outdoor braai areas, and the Cottage has an indoor fireplace for cold winter nights, while the Kapstyl is equipped with a gas heater. The Kapstyl can accommodate six people, and the Cottage can accommodate eight. Both accommodations come with fully equipped kitchens and dining/sitting areas.

The Kapstyl is a traditional southern cape cottage that sleeps six people in three rooms. It features a magnificent wrap-around stoep that provides protection from every wind and offers stunning views of the fynbos, sea, and mountains. Dogs are welcome at the property.
