Koialami Cottage is a recently opened self-catering accommodation that offers a spacious and well-appointed four- to six-sleeper cottage, accommodating a maximum of four adults. The cottage is situated in the heart of northern Johannesburg's horse country, located in Kyalami, close to Lonehill, Bryanston, and Fourways, with easy access to the main arterial roads and Gautrain. The property is set in charming gardens with a scenic dam that attracts wonderful bird life, providing a tranquil environment for visiting families or mid-week executives seeking serenity in the city.

The cottage comprises two bedrooms, a full bathroom with a bath and shower, a spacious living area, and a well-equipped kitchenette. Additionally, the property features the newly opened Koialami World of Koi, a retail outlet that sells prized oriental fish, including imported Japanese koi and excellent local specimens, as well as related products for koi enthusiasts. The shop also stocks products for water gardens, aquaponics, worm farms, and other eco-related items. It has a wonderful deck overlooking a show pond, where visitors can enjoy a cappuccino and soak in the serenity.

The self-catering cottage features two bedrooms: one with a double bed, and the second with a queen-size sleigh bed. The unit has a large lounge and a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, stove, oven, fridge, kettle, toaster, cutlery, and crockery. A double inflatable mattress is available to accommodate two additional guests, and a travel cot, including linen, is available for babies if required.
