KolKol Mountain Lodge, located in the Western Cape's Overberg region, offers a quintessential South African experience just one hour from Cape Town. The property boasts spectacular views of the Babylonstoren Mountains and is situated in a peaceful environment surrounded by fynbos, part of the Cape Floral Kingdom.

The lodge is named after the KolKol, a native fynbos species that grows abundantly on the farm. This fine-leafed shrub reaches up to 2 metres in height, featuring threadlike leaves on drooping branches and distinctive cream-colored flowers with red tissue at their base. The fynbos biome is notably the smallest yet richest per square area of the world's six floral kingdoms.

The accommodation consists of five self-catering pods and nine cabins, all equipped with modern amenities. The pods are identical in layout, each featuring one bedroom with en-suite facilities, a fully equipped kitchen with pizza oven, lounge area with fireplace, and an outdoor deck with braai facilities and wood-fired hot tub. All pods include inverters for load shedding and accommodate two guests.

The cabins vary in size and capacity, ranging from intimate two-person units to larger family accommodations sleeping up to ten guests. The King Cabin is the largest, offering two en-suite bedrooms plus a loft, while others like the Bugsy and Sewejaartjie cabins provide additional sleeping arrangements for children. All cabins feature fully equipped kitchens, lounges with fireplaces, outdoor braai areas, and signature wood-fired hot tubs, providing guests with a perfect blend of comfort and authentic South African outdoor living.
