Komati River Chalets

The Komati River Chalets is a family-owned property situated above the flood plain of the Komati River. It offers a restaurant, bar, and pool facilities, as well as individual chalets that are fully equipped with air conditioning. The chalets and cottages are located no more than fifty meters from the water's edge, where pods of hippos and an array of spectacular bird life can be observed.

The property features fourteen chalets with either twin or double bed configurations. The rooms are spacious, and an extra single bed can be accommodated in each room upon request, either for a third person or children sharing, with an applicable surcharge. The chalets are tastefully decorated, comfortable, and provide a home-away-from-home atmosphere.

Additionally, there are six family cottages, which are spacious and suitable for family groups or couples traveling together. Each family cottage consists of two bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms, and a central open-plan lounge and kitchen area.

Komati River Chalets can arrange day drives into the Kruger National Park, as well as day tours to Mozambique, Swaziland, and local panorama tours, all of which must be booked in advance. The property is situated 2 km from the Kambaku golf course, a 9-hole course that can be played as 18 holes, offering a beautiful setting overlooking the Crocodile River and the Kruger National Park, with a friendly clubhouse and restaurant.

The two-bedroom, two-bathroom family chalets at Komati River Chalets feature a kitchenette, TV lounge, patio, and braai area. Guests can enjoy the swimming pool, jungle gym, and volleyball court, as well as river walks, birding, and fishing. The property is located 11 km from the Crocodile Bridge Gate into the Kruger Park, and the nearest beach is approximately an hour's drive away in Mozambique.
