Kransberg Country Lodge Guest Farm

Kransberg Country Lodge Guest Farm is a self-catering accommodation located 25km outside Thabazimbi, accessible via a gravel road. It does not have a restaurant on-site. The lodge offers a tranquil getaway experience, situated on the border of the Marakele National Park. It is renowned for its remote location beneath the majestic 200m high cliffs that serve as a breeding ground for a large colony of the endangered Cape Vulture species.

The establishment consists of 6 bedrooms, each equipped with a private bathroom. It is an ideal destination for those seeking a restful countryside escape from the stresses of work, providing an opportunity to relax amidst the beautiful surroundings of the lodge. Guests often utilize the lodge as a base for exploring the surrounding area through day trips.

Kransberg Country Lodge Guest Farm operates as a self-catering lodge with a shared kitchen facility. Due to the unpredictable road conditions based on weather, it is recommended to use a high clearance vehicle (SUV or AWD) when accessing the lodge, as the road leading to the property is rocky and bumpy. The 6-bedroom house accommodates up to 12 guests.
