Kransplaas is situated in the heart of the Great Karoo, Eastern Cape, approximately 20 kilometers from the town of Graaff Reinet, which is the fourth-oldest town in South Africa. The farm features two comfortable lodges. One lodge is a luxurious accommodation with four bedrooms that can accommodate up to eight guests. It features a large open-plan kitchen, lounge, and dining area, as well as a spacious veranda with a braai area overlooking the farm dam, where nyalas can be observed roaming freely.

The second lodge is a cozy cottage with one room that can accommodate up to four guests. Both lodges offer amenities such as Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, en-suite bathrooms with showers, basins, and toilets, high-quality twin beds (which can be converted to king beds upon request), telephones, hairdryers, emergency lights, and bathroom amenities.

The farm provides various facilities and services, including a dam, free parking, BBQ facilities, wardrobes, mirrors, electricity, a terrace with outdoor furniture, a microwave, refrigerator, freezer, telephone, emergency lighting, kitchen amenities, and tea and coffee making facilities.

Graaff-Reinet, the nearby town, is renowned for its historical significance as the fourth-oldest town in South Africa, following Cape Town, Stellenbosch, and Swellendam. The town offers several attractions, including the Camdeboo National Park, the Valley of Desolation park and garden, the Reinet House Museum, the Hester Rupert Art Museum, the GRT Brewery, the Obesa Cacti Nursery, the Urhuhard House Museum, and Recollection Rides, as well as spectacular views of the surrounding area.
