Krokodilpoort Lodge is a retreat situated on the banks of the Crocodile River, providing an opportunity for guests to relax in a natural setting. The lodge is accessed through a 7 km gravel road that leads to the unspoilt beauty of the farm, allowing visitors to disconnect from the busy city life and recharge their batteries.

The lodge features three rooms next to the river, which can be rented individually or as a whole for family and friends to enjoy a weekend getaway focused on quality time in nature. The rooms are connected by an open-plan cement veranda that extends directly to the Crocodile River, offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.

Guests have access to a communal gathering area equipped with a large fridge, kitchen sink, a cold bubble bath, and a beautiful swimming pool. Additionally, there is another cold shower, toilet, and braai facilities available for use. The lodge caters to nature lovers, providing an escape from the city where the rooms are not serviced during their stay, and guests are expected to be self-sufficient.

The rocky environment is suitable for hiking, and guests are advised to bring appropriate footwear if they wish to explore the trails. The surrounding area is home to diverse birdlife, including fish eagles, African grey hornbills, and various species of kingfishers. Visitors may also spot game such as giraffe, kudu, impala, blue wildebeest, waterbuck, zebra, and red hartebeest, which are relatively tame and frequently visit the waterhole near the swimming pool to drink.

The Barn is a fully equipped unit located further away from the other rooms and the river. It features a double bed, bunker bed, shower, toilet, kitchen, and braai facilities. No TV is provided, and Wi-Fi access is limited.
