Kruger Park Lodge

The Kruger Park Lodge Golf Course, designed by Gary Player in 1992, stands as one of South Africa's premier 9-hole (18 tees) courses. Located in Hazyview, Mpumalanga, the course seamlessly integrates with the surrounding African wilderness, featuring Kikuyu-coated fairways bordered by native Lowveld acacias and adorned with vibrant azaleas and bougainvillea around the Bayview greens.

The par-72 course stretches 6,100 meters (5,152 meters for ladies) and offers a moderate degree of difficulty, rated 3 out of 5. The layout includes wide bunkers and water hazards, with a notable par-4 island green on the 9th hole. The course is well-maintained by Southern Turf Management (STM) and includes practice facilities with a driving range.

Situated near the world-renowned Kruger National Park, the property overlooks the Sabie River, which flows through to Mozambique. Wildlife, including impala and hippo, frequently visit the grounds, offering golfers a unique playing experience. The resort features comprehensive facilities including four tennis courts, three swimming pools, a restaurant, children's playground activities, and various recreational amenities.

Accommodation at the lodge consists of 35 luxury chalets available in 2, 3, and 4-bedroom configurations. These self-catering units are positioned along the golf course or secluded by either the Sabie River or woodland. Each chalet features a private patio, open-plan living and dining area, fully equipped kitchen, and outdoor braai (barbecue) facilities. The property's indigenous gardens attract abundant birdlife, and guests can enjoy nature trails and various outdoor activities during their stay.
