The Kruger Private Bush Camp is situated in the exclusive Timbavati and Klaserie private game reserves, which form part of the Greater Kruger National Park. These authentic, unfenced tented camps are located on riverbeds, surrounded by Leadwood, Mopane and Acacia trees, or shaded by huge Jackalberry trees. They accommodate a maximum of eight guests in twin-bedded Meru-style tents, offering a true wilderness experience rather than luxury.

The tents are equipped with linen, towels, and solar lighting, while hot showers and flush toilets are separate but easily accessible. Guests can enjoy bush walks and game drives accompanied by experienced guides, offered early in the morning, late afternoon, and at night. The camps have no electricity, but solar lighting, candles, paraffin lanterns, and a campfire provide illumination.

Due to the remoteness and exclusivity of the camps, a minimum stay of three nights is required to enhance the quality of game sightings. Packages are available from Friday to Monday (three nights) or Monday to Friday (four nights). A shuttle service between Johannesburg and the meeting point is available every Monday and Friday, with a list of collection/drop-off points provided upon confirmation.

Self-drive guests meet at a local Bush Pub on the Timbavati Road, where they are transferred to the Greater Kruger National Park by a 4x4 vehicle. Arrival and departure times at the Bush Pub are 11:00 AM, with directions provided upon confirmation. For fly-in guests, pick-ups and drop-offs at Eastgate Airport Hoedspruit are at 11:30 AM on Mondays and Fridays, free of charge. Later arrivals or departures are subject to additional charges.

The Kruger Private Bush Camp is owned by a Kruger Wildlife Walking Safari specialist and offers an authentic East African safari experience with Meru-style tents on wooden platforms, each equipped with two beds, linen, towels, solar lighting, and mosquito netting. The rate includes three meals a day, two walk/drive combinations, and a night drive per day.
