The Kruger Sunset Lodge is located in the Mjejane Game Reserve, which forms part of the larger Kruger National Park. Mjejane was incorporated into Kruger and has a 10-kilometer river frontage along the Crocodile River. The lodge is situated on a savanna where plains game and predators roam and hunt.

The lodge is strategically positioned, and great care was taken to ensure that visitors can view the bush from anywhere within the lodge. Huge folding doors open across the span of the living and dining room on both sides. The bedrooms feature seven-meter by three-meter high sliding doors, ensuring that guests are always connected with nature. Feeding Kudu, waterbuck, bushbuck, duiker, and warthogs are seen daily on the lodge grounds. Additionally, an array of birds, including the rare Ground Hornbill, are daily visitors, making it possible to study these creatures up close in their natural habitat.

While the lodge incorporates natural stone and wood in its design, it exudes an unmistakable sense of luxury. The delightful volumes are enjoyable yet functional at the same time. The design allows guests to engage in activities with companions while also providing spaces for private contemplation.

Situated in an exclusive private reserve incorporated into the greater Kruger Park, Kruger Sunset Lodge offers rare up-close encounters with wildlife on the doorstep. Spanning over 1200 square meters on one level, the lodge features delightful places to relax.
