Ku Sungula Safari Lodge

Ku Sungula Safari Lodge is situated in the 40,000-hectare Balule Private Nature Reserve, which forms part of the Kruger National Park. The Balule Private Nature Reserve features rich wildlife and spectacular views, as its border with the Kruger National Park is open, and the northern Drakensberg provides a stunning backdrop. The reserve serves as a haven for the Big Five, numerous other animal species, and a paradise for bird enthusiasts.

The lodge offers the expertise of qualified guides and trackers, who provide thrilling up-close encounters with the Big Five, either in open safari vehicles or on foot, imparting their vast knowledge to guests during these immersive bush experiences. Activities available at the lodge include complete safaris, photo safaris, bird watching, bush walks, full-day tours of the Kruger National Park, the Panorama Route, and Mariepskop, as well as boat trips, micro and helicopter flights, ballooning, and horseback riding, among others. Ku Sungula Safari Lodge welcomes guests of all ages, and children are permitted to join game drives.

The lodge's rondavels are fully safari-styled and furnished, featuring en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, insect-proof gauze on all windows, and private terraces for relaxation. Accommodation excludes beverages, gate entrance fees, transfers, and activity costs.
