Kudu Ridge Game Ranch

Kudu Ridge Game Ranch is a malaria-free private game reserve located 15 kilometers from Addo Elephant National Park. It is a family-owned and operated establishment that offers comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation in safari tents and bush chalets. All the safari tents and chalets are en-suite, private, and set in the indigenous Addo bush.

The game reserve is home to various wildlife species, including kudu, bushbuck, impala, zebra, numerous bird species, and rare plant species. Bush walks are available on the premises, and safari trips to Addo Elephant National Park can be arranged to view elephants, rhinos, buffalos, giraffes, and more.

The lodge serves South African cuisine in the dining room and an outdoor boma area around a fire pit. It features a well-stocked bar and a bush bar for game viewing sundowners. Facilities include free WiFi, a communal big-screen television, an open-air fire pit, a viewing deck overlooking the reserve, the Sundays River Valley, and Addo Elephant National Park, as well as a pool table and a dartboard in the boma.

Kudu Ridge Game Ranch offers transfers and Addo tours in a 7-seater air-conditioned combo bus. Activities such as canoeing on the Sundays River, elephant back safaris, quad biking, and guided tours can be arranged upon request. The ranch also features one of the longest double zip-lines in South Africa. Additionally, the Kudu Ridge function venue can host private functions, conferences, and meetings, accommodating up to 45 guests or delegates.

The game ranch is located a 45-minute drive from the airport, beaches, and shopping malls of Port Elizabeth. It offers game viewing in open 4x4 vehicles within Addo Elephant National Park, which is home to the Big 7 species. Guided walks on the farm are available, and guests can also explore the area on their own. The experience of sleeping in a safari-style house tent in the bush after an evening spent in the boma around an open fire pit under the African stars is considered the ultimate old-fashioned bush experience.

The chalets at Kudu Ridge Game Ranch are private, spacious, and stylishly designed, surrounded by views of the Addo bush. The Double Chalets feature a double bed and a private en-suite equipped with a shower. Amenities include a hairdryer, extra blankets and pillows, and a tea and coffee station.
