Kwambili Game Lodge

Kwambili Game Lodge is a safari lodge that provides an authentic safari experience at an affordable price. It is situated in Thornybush Game Reserve near Hoedspruit, within the Greater Kruger area. The reserve is home to the Big Five as well as an abundance of other game and bird species, ensuring good sightings during game drives or bush walks.

The name "Kwambili" means "Place of Two" in the local Shangaan language. The lodge's knowledgeable rangers introduce guests to the tracks, movements, sights, and sounds of the African bush. Guests can view wildlife from the safety and comfort of the well-positioned hide at the lodge. Additionally, the lodge offers a swimming pool, armchairs, private patios, and a bar where guests can relax and let the experience sink in.

Meals are served under the stars in the boma, or guests can enjoy a private dinner in the hide. The lodge has a honeymoon chalet and can arrange private romantic dinners at the hide. The accommodation consists of large Meru-style safari tents under a thatch roof, with private patios offering views of the bush. Each tent has twin beds with mosquito nets, electricity, a fan, and an en-suite bathroom with an enclosed open-air shower, toilet, and basin.
