Kweekkraal Guest Farm is situated 8.2 km west of Riversdale, at the gateway to the Garden Route on the southern coast of Africa. The farm is part of a conservation area, and the main house, built in 1880, is of historic significance. It is a working farm where sheep and cattle are grazed on cultivated oats and lucerne pastures, and crops such as canola, wheat, and barley are produced.

The accommodation consists of nine recently renovated and equipped units by the farm owners, Pieter and Sandra van Wyk. Five units overlook a farm dam with a backdrop of eucalyptus trees and grain fields, each containing two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, and a lounge and dining area. Three one-bedroom cottages are situated around the swimming pool and barbeque area. There is also a rustic stone cottage that can accommodate up to eight guests, with power supplied by solar and gas.

For guests' convenience, braai packs, sandwiches for the coals, fresh salads, wood, and soft drinks are offered. The main farm house is currently being renovated to house a coffee shop and restaurant that will specialize in typical South African cuisine. A wedding venue is available on-site, with the bridal ceremony and receptions hosted on the premises. The wedding package includes overnight accommodation in the honeymoon suite.

Families are welcome, and it is safe to bring children's bikes as they can ride on the farm. There is plenty of open space for activities such as riding bikes, playing ball, enjoying the swimming pool, or going for walks. The one-bedroom cottage is furnished with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The unit has a private braai facility, a view of the garden, and is close to the swimming pool. In February, guests are welcome to help themselves to figs from the tree near the room.
