Kwela Bed & Breakfast

Kwela Bed & Breakfast is situated in the center of Aliwal North, on the popular N6 route to East London. It offers guests a comfortable and luxurious overnight stay. The establishment features 10 air-conditioned rooms, which include Standard, Executive, and Family Rooms. Each room is equipped with a TV with DStv, a bar fridge, as well as tea and coffee-making facilities. Some rooms also have hairdryers, microwaves, and electric blankets.

All rooms have en-suite bathrooms consisting of either a bath, a shower, or both. The Standard Rooms are furnished with double or twin beds. The Executive Rooms are appointed with queen-size beds, while the Family Room can accommodate four people, featuring a double bed and two single beds. There is also a second Family Room that can sleep three guests, with a double bed and a single bed.

Kwela Bed & Breakfast provides a communal swimming pool where guests can cool down, as well as braai facilities and safe parking. Breakfast is available at an additional cost of R120 per person. Although small, Aliwal North offers various attractions such as the Kerkplein Museum, the Garden of Remembrance, the Oviston Nature Reserve, the Tussen die Riviere Game Reserve, and the Buffelspruit Nature Reserve, where guests can view a variety of animals.
