Kwenga Safari Lodge

Balule Nature Reserve, Mpumalanga
from
R 0

Kwenga Safari Lodge is situated within the Balule Private Nature Reserve, which forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park. It is a dedicated animal conservation area and a genuine African wildlife wilderness where visitors can experience an authentic African safari. The area is home to a diverse variety of bird species and wildlife, including the Big Five: lion, white rhino, black rhino, buffalo, and leopard, as well as cheetah, elephant, and other African game.

As a protected area in the Limpopo Province of South Africa, the Balule Nature Reserve is a member of the Association of Private Nature Reserves (APNR). There are no fences separating the APNR reserves and the Kruger National Park, meaning the APNR is effectively part of the Kruger National Park.

A visit to Kwenga Safari Lodge is an experience that touches one's very being. Guests are exposed to the true essence of Africa and quickly adapt to the mystical rhythm of the bush, as encapsulated in the quote, "a place where time stops and life begins."

Safari game drives and bush walks are activities offered at Kwenga. The lodge also assists with arranging additional activities in the surrounding area, making it ideal for long-stay guests. Children aged six and older are accommodated, with those under 18 allowed to share a room with their parents. An extra bed will be added to the parents' room, with the ideal arrangement being one child per two adults sharing a room.

Kwenga features a romantic luxury Honeymoon Suite in the heart of the bushveld. The suite is equipped with beautiful furniture, decor, and an extra-length queen bed. It has a full bathroom with a bathtub, shower, and outdoor walk-in shower. Amenities include WiFi, a private patio, and air conditioning.
