La Montagne Bed and Breakfast is one of the last Swartland farm houses to have been restored. It offers a country atmosphere with an unmistakable and sought-after tranquil experience. La Montagne is owned by Louis Schoeman and Jolanda De Kock, who, assisted by Veronica, the manageress, welcome guests with warm hospitality and grace.

The French term "La Montagne" translates to "the mountain". The establishment features five spacious double en-suite bedrooms, each beautifully decorated and fitted with quality linen. The luxuriously styled bedrooms are also air-conditioned. Guests can enjoy a lovely breakfast on the verandah or in the family dining room, spend a lazy afternoon in the lovely garden, or take a nap on the country patio overlooking the garden.

Other alluring features of La Montagne include a charismatic dining area overlooked by a great old bookshelf, and two lounge areas where one can either catch up on some reading or enjoy the full range of DStv television channels. The kitchen is the heart and pulse of La Montagne, designed to make guests feel right at home. The rooms feature queen-size beds and en-suite bathrooms with Victorian baths and showers.
