La Playa

La Playa is a boutique bed and breakfast establishment situated less than 100 meters from the beach in Strand, catering for business and leisure travelers alike. It offers four en-suite rooms on a bed and breakfast basis, two with twin beds and two with double beds. Additionally, there are two self-catering units, one sleeping two people with twin or double beds, and the other unit accommodating six people with twin and double beds.

The establishment provides comfortable en-suite rooms where guests can relax after a long day at work, or they can take a walk along the beachfront to one of the many nearby pubs and restaurants. The Strand area offers a wide variety of activities catering to different types of travelers, including nature walks, canoeing, bird watching, and fishing at Steenbras Dam, as well as golf courses nearby.

Bikini Beach, known as one of the best beaches in South Africa, is a prime location for basking in the Cape sun. The area also features amazing restaurants and taverns serving delicious seafood dishes made from freshly caught fish around Gordon's Bay. The locals provide entertainment until the early morning hours. The famous Cape Winelands are within close proximity, allowing visitors to explore charming wine farms and sample various types of wines.
