The estate has been transformed over the past quarter-century from a modest farm into a thriving property, featuring 40 hectares of high-quality vineyards, two small lakes, and a pecan orchard.
The estate's name derives from a significant glacial rock formation in the valley's center, with 'Die Klip' being translated to 'La Roche'. The property benefits from an underground river running through the Robertsvlei valley, providing fresh water to the community. Through innovative engineering, a canal system was created to manage water distribution effectively across the estate.
Guests can indulge in various activities including wine tasting, fine dining, hiking, and horseback riding, with assistance from the local tourism information centre.
