Ladismith Country House is situated 7 kilometers outside the town of Ladismith, alongside the Swartberg mountains and on the popular R62 route. It is located a scenic three-hour drive from Cape Town or a two-hour drive from George Airport. The guestfarm is a working sheep farm, privately owned and managed, and offers the discerning holiday maker or corporate guest the perfect Klein Karoo experience with a theme of "home, away from home". Ladismith Country House is situated in an area that can best be a nature lover's paradise, offering a variety of birdlife, fynbos, and succulents.

The Soul Haven Spiritual Retreat is based on-site and is focused on healing and emotional wellness. The retreat offers activities such as yoga, hypnotherapy, eco-psychology, and meditation. The retreat runs over a 4-day/3-night weekend once a month.

The Manor House consists of five individually and tastefully decorated guest suites that provide warmth and relaxation in the Klein Karoo setting. Each suite has its own entrance and offers a patio with direct access to the beautiful garden. The five en-suite rooms offer air conditioning (hot & cold), cotton bed linen, safes, and coffee and tea-making facilities. Additionally, a fully equipped, private self-catering unit is available, accommodating six persons in three bedrooms. The unit has two bathrooms, a kitchenette, and a lounge.

The on-site Bistro provides wholesome home-cooking for guests. They can enjoy a heart-warming breakfast or dinner, either in the art-clad dining room or on the patio overlooking the garden. The Klein Karoo landscape, with the welcoming sounds of guinea-fowl, hadeda, wild geese, partridge, and pheasants, ensures a memorable dining experience.

During the day, guests can enjoy scenic walks on the farm and hiking trails within 5 kilometers of the Country House before heading out to the famous Seweweekspoort, the gateway to the Greater Karoo. The Seweweekspoort is a mere 10-minute drive from the Country House and is a must-visit when traveling on the R62. The Poort offers an abundance of unspoiled beauty and breathtaking views. Guests can also take a day trip through the poort and turn towards Bosluiskloof and Gamkapoort dam. Seweweekspoort peak is the highest point in the Western Cape province.

The annual Seweweekspoort Mountain Bike Race passes the Country House, and mountain bike enthusiasts can bring their bikes along and enjoy scenic back roads.
