The property, known as "Lalla Rookh," is located at 55 Nkwazi Drive in Zinkwazi Beach. It is the Original Lagoon cottage, offering beautiful views and direct access to the lagoon and beach. The large beach cottage allows for the accommodation of an entire family.

The property features a massive lawn suitable for children to engage in various outdoor activities such as playing ball games, cricket, or having picnics under the trees. Visitors can fish directly from the edge of the lagoon or enjoy the large undercover veranda, which provides a relaxing space for leisure activities or simply taking in the views.

Guests are permitted to bring rowboats or canoes, which can be launched directly from the property. Normal boats for skiing or jet skiing are also allowed, although large double-axel ski boats (6m+) are not recommended. If guests wish to bring a larger boat, they should arrange lagoon access with the Ski-boat club on the beach and launch from the communal site. Boats can be moored in front of the property, provided that the lagoon is sufficiently full.

It is important to note that a local kids' camp (Sugarbay) may use the side of the property as an access point to the lagoon. The property is serviced and provides linen, bath towels, and braai facilities. Guests are required to bring their own beach towels and DSTV decoder, along with the necessary power plug and HDMI cable for the compatible DSTV dish. The house is secured by security beams, an alarm, and armed response. Two lock-up garages and additional secure open parking spaces are available.

The home features a veranda, lounge, dining room, kitchen, five bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a guest toilet. Laundry facilities include a washing machine and tumble dryer. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary crockery, cutlery, ample fridge and freezer space, a gas hob, an electric stove, and a microwave.

Regarding accommodations, the house sleeps 12 people in five bedrooms: the first bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has two single beds that can be converted to a king bed, the third and fourth bedrooms have queen beds, and the fifth bedroom has four single beds. Some of the rooms have basins.

The bathrooms consist of the first bathroom with a bath, basin, shower, and separate toilet, and the second bathroom, which is located outside on the side of the house and is enclosed and private, with a basin, shower, and toilet. Additionally, there is a third option of a completely al-fresco shower with hot and cold water in the garden foliage for those who prefer an outdoor experience.

It is important to note that the property does not accommodate groups of adults or any functions of any kind. Pets are also not allowed. Additional charges may apply, such as a daily staff levy of R300 and a breakage deposit of 10% of the accommodation charge, with a minimum of R2500, which is refundable if there are no breakages.

During the peak season (December and January), specific minimum stay requirements apply. For bookings that include both Christmas and New Year, the minimum stay is 14 nights. For bookings that include only Christmas, the minimum stay is 10 nights, and the stay cannot end later than the 27th or 28th of December. For bookings that include only New Year, the minimum stay is 10 nights, and the stay cannot start earlier than the 27th or 28th of December. Lesser stays before and after this period (a minimum of 5-7 nights) may be considered once the owner has secured their primary booking.
