Lavender Beach

Lavender Beach is a self-catering cottage located on the beachfront in Vermont, in the Overberg region of the Western Cape, South Africa. The property offers a fully-equipped cottage and a separate flat that can accommodate up to 11 guests in total. The cottage is situated footsteps away from the ocean, in a quiet cul-de-sac near the tidal pool and Onrus beach.

The main double-storey house in the cottage can sleep between two and eight guests. It comprises an open-plan lounge and dining room equipped with full DStv, VCR, DVD player, and a fully-equipped kitchen with separate laundry facilities including a dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer. The main bedroom downstairs has a double bed, and there are two bathrooms on the ground floor, one with a bath and one with a shower. Upstairs, there is a spacious loft-style bedroom with two three-quarter beds and one single bed, offering amazing sea views. Additionally, there is a third loft-style bedroom upstairs with one double bed and one single bed, as well as a shared bathroom with a toilet and shower.

The separate flat can accommodate up to three guests in an open-plan loft room with a king-size bed and a single bed, also boasting beautiful sea views. It has an en-suite bathroom with a bath, basin, and toilet, as well as a mini kitchenette with basic appliances and utensils. The flat also features a small dining area and a TV with SABC channels or a DVD player.

Outside, there is a barbecue area between the house and the flat, with a built-in barbecue and an outdoor dining area with lovely mountain views. The property's central location provides easy access to nearby activities such as whale watching in Hermanus, Great White shark excursions in Gansbaai, and exploring the renowned wine estates of Walker Bay. It is also within walking distance of supermarkets and restaurants.
