Lavender House

Lavender House is a self-catering accommodation situated in Port Alfred, located 100 meters from the river and 150 meters from restaurants, a health shop, quaint gift and decor stores, a hotel, and a cocktail bar. It offers a laid-back beach house holiday accommodation and is tastefully decorated with beautiful Tribal Textiles products from Zambia.

The house comprises four bedrooms and three bathrooms, an open-plan fully equipped kitchen, two lounges, a dining area, an outdoor entertainment area with a fire-pit, and a fully enclosed garden. It also features secure off-street parking, a ramp for wheelchairs and prams. Additionally, there is a cozy double room called Lavender Room, which has its own kitchenette, separate bathroom, entrance, enclosed garden with braai facilities, and secure off-street parking. This room is adjacent to Lavender House and can be booked together or separately.

The magnificent beach is located 1 kilometer away from the property. The area offers six malaria-free game parks, a Royal Port Alfred Golf Course, tennis courts, bowling facilities, boating opportunities, canoeing, deep-sea fishing, and diving. Airport transfers can be arranged as the property is ideally situated 150 kilometers from Port Elizabeth and 130 kilometers from East London.

The enclosed garden at the back provides a safe play area for children. Board games and cards are supplied for rainy weather. There is also a hot and cold outdoor shower to wash away sea sand and muddy feet. The house can comfortably accommodate between eight and ten guests. The bedrooms are configured as follows: one with a queen-size bed, a bunk bed, and an en-suite bathroom with a bath; one with a queen-size bed; one with a queen-size bed, a shower en-suite, and a door leading out to the garden with a laptop safe; and one spacious room with twin three-quarter size beds. 100% percale cotton linen, beach, and bath towels are provided.
