Lengau Lodge

Lengau Lodge is a 4-star safari game lodge situated in Grietjie Private Nature Reserve, which is part of Kruger National Park, where animals can move freely between the reserves. Grietjie is known for being home to the Big Five and various other animal species, including hundreds of types of birds. The lodge's plot has no fence, allowing animals to visit freely.

Lengau Lodge is located 25 minutes away from Kruger National Park, 20 minutes from Phalaborwa, 35 minutes from Hoedspruit, and a 1-hour drive from Tzaneen. The lodge has only three rondavels (rooms), each accommodating two guests. It offers daily game drives, one early in the morning and one late in the afternoon, in a 9,000-hectare private section of Kruger National Park. These game drives can be booked at the lodge.

Guests at Lengau Lodge can choose from various activities, including a full-day or half-day visit to Kruger National Park, a cultural village tour guided by a qualified FGASA field guide, a boat safari on the Olifants River (which can be combined with a traditional braai on Wednesdays), a visit to a venue offering Marula tree products and workshops, a visit to a local gin distillery with tastings, wine tasting during a late afternoon game drive, massages, hot air balloon flights near the Drakensberg Mountains (weather permitting), helicopter flights, and horse riding on a game farm.

Lengau Lodge provides early morning and late afternoon game drives in a private 9,000-hectare section of Kruger National Park, with scenic views along the Olifants River. Only a limited number of game vehicles are allowed in this private reserve. The lodge has three rooms spread out in the bush, each with a private terrace overlooking a waterhole. A family room accommodating four guests is also available, privately located within the lodge and offering bush views. The rooms feature large bathrooms with double basins, showers, baths, and separate toilet rooms, as well as air conditioning and ceiling fans. Game drives are not included in the room rates.
