Leopard Tree Lodge

Leopard Tree Lodge is a 4-star luxury self-catering accommodation located in St Lucia Estuary, South Africa, within the UNESCO World Heritage site iSimangaliso Wetland Park. The lodge takes its name from the largest and oldest Leopard Tree in St Lucia, which stands at its entrance.

Situated on the edge of the forest/greenbelt area, the lodge offers unique wildlife viewing opportunities. It comprises 10 modern, individually decorated apartments that can accommodate up to 32 guests. Each apartment features an undercover balcony/patio, private entrance, fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, fans, free WiFi, Smart TV, DSTV, and secure parking.

The property is well-equipped with modern amenities including a 54 KVA diesel generator and a borehole. A recently installed Solar Power System provides essential services during quiet hours. The lodge features a communal braai area adjacent to the pool and forest edge.

St Lucia offers numerous activities including day/night game drives to three game reserves, whale watching, turtle breeding, snorkeling, hiking, horse riding, boat cruises, deep sea fishing, and cultural tours. The town is famous for hippos that roam the streets at night, which guests can observe either during night drives or from the lodge's communal areas.

The lodge maintains strict check-in hours between 14:00 and 18:00, with no check-ins permitted after 21:00.
