Letaba Safari Lodge is a traditional safari lodge that offers visitors the opportunity to observe the Big 5 animals in a private and secluded setting. The stylish lodge is located between two granite 'koppies' and the open Kruger Park area. The dedicated staff provide attentive service and cater to the needs of guests during their stay. All game drives are conducted by professional and knowledgeable safari guides in open vehicles.

The lodge is situated just 10 minutes from Phalaborwa and 35 minutes from Hoedspruit Airport. With access to the southern gate of the Letaba Game Reserve, it is one of only three lodges with traversing rights over 42,000 hectares of Big 5 territory, allowing for amazing and solitary private day and night drives. The Letaba Game Reserve shares a 27 km unfenced border with Kruger National Park, offering a pristine wilderness area where visitors can encounter the wild side of this remote region.

The reserve is known for its large herds of elephants and buffalo, as well as the other Big 5 animals. It is also a hotspot for sightings of African wild dogs. The area features various water holes, highlight points, and the Great Letaba River, where visitors can observe hippos and crocodiles on the banks of the mighty river. The reserve also features ample plains game and abundant birdlife.

The thatched chalets at the lodge have tented walls that allow the sounds of the bush and the predator night calls to filter through the rooms. The thatched roofs keep the stylish rooms cool and comfortable. Each chalet has an en-suite shower. The main complex is open and has a quaint feel, providing a relaxing atmosphere for meals and socializing. While sitting around the fire at night, guests may encounter the sounds of a trumpeting elephant passing by or the calls of predators, truly offering an experience of nature at its best.
