Lethabong Lodge

Lethabong Lodge is strategically situated near the Waterberg Mountains in Thabazimbi, Limpopo Province, South Africa, approximately two hours from Johannesburg and Pretoria. The establishment spans 700 hectares of pristine wilderness and offers diverse accommodation options to suit various preferences and needs.

The property features multiple accommodation types, including self-catering lodge rooms, luxury safari tents, and 4x4 bush campsites. The lodge rooms comprise seven attached second-story units, each accommodating up to four guests with single beds, en-suite bathrooms, and kitchen facilities. Eleven standalone safari tents offer more luxurious accommodation, each equipped with double beds, a single bed, sofa bed, en-suite bathroom, and kitchen area, accommodating up to six guests. The camping sites provide private kitchenettes and bathrooms, with a maximum capacity of six people per site.

Additionally, three guesthouses - Kingfisher, Turaco, and Hornbill - cater to both family holidays and business stays. Unlike the self-catering options, these units offer room service from the on-site restaurant. The Kingfisher can accommodate up to six guests, while Turaco and Hornbill each house up to four guests.

The lodge offers numerous activities, including guided game drives at sunrise and sunset, mountain biking, walking trails, and game hunting. Visitors can observe various wildlife species such as giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, eland, and diverse birdlife in the malaria-free Bushveld. A water park and braai area provide entertainment for day visitors and guests, making it particularly appealing for families. The facility maintains a cashless payment system, accepting only debit or credit card transactions.
