Lianshulu Lodge

Lianshulu Lodge is a private concession nestled within the Mudumu National Park in Namibia's east Caprivi region, overlooking the scenic Kwando River. The lodge is surrounded by diverse landscapes including riverine forest, marsh, and open woodland, creating an ideal habitat for abundant wildlife.

The accommodation features eleven individually styled chalets, thoughtfully spaced for privacy and shaded by dense riparian forest. The property can host up to 24 guests across eight twin rooms (including three suites and one wheelchair-accessible room), two double rooms, and a family room that accommodates up to four guests. The eight chalets are equipped with showers, while the three suites offer additional amenities including a bath and outdoor shower.

The lodge's main areas comprise thatched dining, lounge, and bar spaces that open onto elevated wooden decks, providing panoramic views of the Lianshulu lagoon and surrounding flood plains. Guests can enjoy wildlife viewing from these vantage points. Additional facilities include two fireplaces, a comprehensive library, an African curio shop, and a secluded swimming pool.

Known for its culinary excellence, the lodge employs a professional chef who prepares refined meals served in various settings, including under a wild fig tree. Dining experiences range from early morning breakfasts to candlelit dinners, followed by liqueurs around the fire. Throughout their stay, guests receive attentive yet discrete service from the dedicated staff, with traditional Caprivi drums marking the transition to evening entertainment.
